Status

IOCD is registered in Belgium as an international nonprofit organization by a royal decree signed on 29 March 1983. Since then, it complies with Belgian law regarding its constitution, formal functions and annual reporting on its activities and financing.

Governance

General Assembly

The General Assembly is constituted by periodic elections and comprises the Officers of the Organization (President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Director), as well as additional members of IOCD and observers.

The membership of the General Assembly is currently as follows:

Administrative Council (board of directors)

The Administrative Council has executive authority devolved from the General Assembly and can decide on all matters except:

• approval of budgets and accounts
• appointment and resignation of directors
• modification of the articles of association
• liquidation of the organization

It currently comprises the Executive Director F. Rosei as President, S. Delaney as Secretary and Ph. Lambin as Treasurer.
